Organizing a Club President Council in a Section…meeting monthly by Zoom for < 30 minutes…would yield great benefits, imho. Organizing volunteers is far, far different than management and leadership in an employment situation. How much actual leadership training do SMs get on their ARRL orientation meeting?

First very respectively I ask...... How does Organizing a Club President Council in a Section…meeting monthly by Zoom for < 30 minutes differ from having a virtual round table discussion with club officers in the section bimonthly differ from you excellent idea, other than monthly Iam open to modifing what I do.
On the second part.....
Organizing volunteers is far, far different than management and leadership in an employment situation. How much actual leadership training do SMs get on their ARRL orientation meeting? The answer is None !!! I learned leadership while in the United States Airforce at The Strategic Air Command Non Comissioned Officer's Academy and while leading men and wommen while serving in a combat zones (Twice)
The ARRL SM Indoctination consist of what to do and not do while you are a Section Manager there are zero real tips on how to best serve our members. In fact for the last 4 sessions,maybe longer they have been doing these as Zoom conferences - which I am totaly against for many reasons.
I really feel they should pick two SM's from across the Country to speak about how they best serve their members with emphasis on face to face meeting with fellow ARRL members in their sections
