Worked All Continents (WAC - IARU)

I know that this award isn't an ARRL award, but was hoping to get questions answered as the application process goes through ARRL. There is an option on the application form to indicates that "cards can be found in my DXCC account". I think I understand what that means (as opposed to any confirmations I have through LOTW).

Seems to me that you would NOT need to send the cards again.

Looks like it. Sharon from ARRL replied to me directly and confirmed that the ARRL as the processor of the award checks the DXCC account, so no card checker involvement is required.

This is good to know. I never regarded an HF WAC as in the same difficulty class as most other awards, but I badly wanted a 5BWAC after I got my 5BDXCC but without an 80m Asian confirmation. This irritated me. It seemed as if I really hadn't done the complete job. Eventually a 5B4 station confirmed a QSO in the DARC Contest Log and I got it from the DARC. Now both awards hang side by side on my shack wall.
This was in the 2010 time frame. Now FT8 made has changed the game and I have quite a few 80m Middle Eastern Asian confirmations in LoTW.
