Ria, N2RJ writes: “There is no paper certificate for challenge.”
That is factually accurate, as I stated in my opening message.

I am unclear what prestige there is on a printed certificate printed by an ARRL sourced supplier or on my color laser printer. Why not offer both? I would hope that the ARRL printed

Re: Triple play
I got mine last week. I never really paid attention to it but just decided to finish it out as I had most of the contacts.
I actually qualified for it in 2019 but never got around to it.

I doubt DXCC would see downloadable certificates. To me it cheapens the award. Many share this opinion. I’ve asked about it.
Paper printed certificates, maybe. PSC would consider it and the board

There is no paper certificate for challenge. There is a plaque at additional cost. Additional levels have medallions.
There is no application specifically for challenge either. You’re adding to

I just learned that when you make application for the DXCC Challenge award on LoTW, the payment you make includes no tangible paper certificate.

My friend and local card checker, Peter, W2IRT does them by mail. He’s good in QRZ. Look him up and send him an email to make arrangements.
Using a checker can be faster than sending cards to HQ as

No we don’t send the cards to ARRL—we only verify that the info on the sheet matches the info on the cards and there are no obvious changes. Also, I doubt we will ever be able to upload directly

Another option is to check the ARRL page here:
http://www.arrl.org/dxcc-card-checker-search
fill in your state, and hit the search button. That will show you all the card checkers in your state,

Give your card checker a buzz on the phone. Tell him what you need. Mine was happy to do so through the mail. Fill out the form that is correct for the award (WAS, DXCC) and mail him/her the card/s

Have you contacted a Card checker in your area and asked them?
You may be surprised, they might meet with you for coffee,
not everyone is totally sheltering in place at this time.

If you can't work with a field checker and want to apply for an award, simply follow the process outlined here and mail your cards to HQ. The Awards desk is working and checking

I may be wrong, but...I dont believe checkers mail the cards to HQ....they simply send the sheet in.....which begs the question, when will they be able to upload directly into the system?

pandemic card checking
Hi,
What's the best way to get cards checked during pandemic times? There's no club meetings, very few hamfests, and I expect that card checkers really don't want to have face-to-face
