Re: Emailed QSLs
I have received several QSLs via email with a request for a reply. The sender also says they are putting the QSO on LoTW and
sending a QSL via the bureau.
Is there any value to an emailed QSL?

Re: Emailed QSLs
Hi Pete,
I just got one emailed. It originated by a service in Europe. It was from a U S ham for a 2015 qso. The photo was the same as his card on EQSL. I'm going to ignore it.

Re: [ARRL-LoTW] Missing Confirmation On LoTW
Thanks all;
The last time around Hawaii had been credited to my DXCC award, BUT they would not take it for WAS 160. Could only resubmit the card again. Now I want to have it credited for the CW 160

They are human, stuff happens…..rather than post on social media, give them a call FIRST…..my experience, they are easy to reach and usually able to fix things relatively quickly….

Re: [ARRL-LoTW] Missing Confirmation On LoTW
My guess is that if you call or email them, they will apply it. Probably someone forgot something... Have you contacted the ARRL yet?

Missing Confirmation On LoTW
When I submitted my 160 WAS award, one state was missing: Hawaii
I submitted the QSL card to my card checker and it was approved and I now have Hawaii and my 160 meter WAS award certificate.

I just reply in kind. Frankly if it makes someone’s day and maybe a new friend I’m happy.

Minnesota and EN34 are quite un-rare, so I get maybe 50 cards or less in a year. I like the cards “just for the card”. And because I like showing off my artwork, every one gets a response

If specifically request I will reply to anjy QSL
For example I do not normally use eQSL
however many others do, eQSL is not accepted for DXCC awards
however many use it to pursue other awards even

Re: Emailed QSLs
As a qsl manager I have gotten qsls in all shapes and sizes. Post-it notes, 3x5 cards, letters, and traditional qsl cards.
As long as the required contact info is there it is a valid qsl.

I am receiving emails with a picture of a QSL for a QSO. This practice seems to be one used by ops on FT8. As far as I know, such QSLs, while nice, are worthless for any award. I am reluctant to

Re: DXCC Challenge Certificate
Agreed. even the price for my triple play was way out of line for what was provided. I bet it cost them about 5 bucks max. I would not have ordered it if I had seen it first.
