I have the old style DXCC plaques and the old style DX Challenge plaque. Made out of wood. If I remember correctly I had to pay for these. So I can't understand why the League needed to change these,

I think you meant April 2021 and not April 2020. Staff was not in the building in April 2020.
And you are right - it was changed by headquarters without member input. Now we are reversing that based
