This seems too simplistic a choice. There are issues it does not address. But rather than say them over and over again, I implore the ARRL BoD to convene a task force to develop a proposal(plan for a successor to the current DXCC program that factors in all the new technology, all the influences, all the constituent groups.
And I think it needs to be said, the current DXAC is not the group to do this. At least some seem to have preformed opinions and are resistant to change.
i hope the BoD does this soon, and the task force completes its work before we lose the critical mass of hams that make the DXCC possible.
