These online ARRL groups were explicitly created to facilitate public interaction among hams (ARRL members and non-members), ARRL staff, and ARRL management. The fact that DXAC members and ARRL Directors like Mickey N4MB and Ria N2RJ are participating confirms that the points of view and suggestions posted here are being heard.

One does wonder why the other ARRL Board Members are not participating.

When a decision is made, it would be nice if the rationale behind it were posted here, but we should not expect explanations of why specific recommendations were not adopted; there are too many of them.
